Biography[]
Crossfire[]
Rick was Mia Dearden's pimp who forced her to be a fighter. Mia was fighting in an underground fight club when she was suddenly forced to leave by Rick. She noticed the Beretta in his waistband and they argued for a minute about her running away from him, then he leads her out of the ring while Oliver Queen looks on.
He also forced Mia into prostitution and she walked the streets so she could payback what she owed to him. Oliver met Mia on the street and made a proposal to make her a better fighter and get out of her life on the streets. At first, she was reluctant to the idea, but ended up accepting. Oliver made her his driver and then, she stole his car to pay back Rick in exchange for her freedom, but he was unwilling to let her go.
He wanted more from her and told Mia that he would never let her go as she was his best employee and required her to reveal Oliver's location. Rick forced her to help him kidnap Oliver and inadvertently, Lois Lane as well. She fought against Rick and his thugs. Mia kicked the pistol away from Rick's hand and caught it in mid-air, turning it on him to save Lois.
However, Mia found that she was unable to pull the trigger. Rick took the pistol back and knocked Mia unconscious. Oliver got out of the car and he and Lois took out the men, escaping into a nearby alley with Rick in pursuit. Overhearing the gunfire from Lois' earphone, Clark Kent super speeds to the scene arriving just in time to step in between the gun-toting Rick and Oliver. Clark melted the gun with his heat vision and caught a stray bullet before it hit Oliver's head. Rick was later arrested by the authorities.
Charade[]
Rick's stay in prison was short-lived as he later reappeared as a subject of Maxwell Lord's experiment, because he was one of a few to have caught a glimpse of The Blur when he tried to kill Lois and Oliver. Lord hoped to use Rick and the others to figure out what The Blur looked like. Rick and others were hooked up to a machine that digitally put together pieces of The Blur's body from their memories. After Clark foiled Lord's plan, Rick was presumably returned to prison.
