Ricky's killer first appeared onscreen when he was sitting in the backseat of [[Ferris (Boyz n the Hood)]] red Hyundai vehicle pulling up to Tre Styles, intimidating him with a shotgun before they quickly drive away leaving Tre scared.

Ferris later shoots his Uzi in the air, making all the party-goers scared who are seen running away on foot and driving away in getaway vehicles.
