Greenleaf was a writing publisher. One of his clients was Allan Mallory, a writer specializing in writing eroticism. At the time of commencement of cooperation, Mallory was a little -known writer, and he made a reputation thanks to cooperation with Greenleaf. One day Mallory received a better proposal than Jeffrey Neal, the head of a competitive publishing house. Therefore, Mallory decided not to extend the contract with the Greenleafa Publishing House, which led Riley to fury. Angry because of this, Greleaf threatened Allan that when he went to Neala's Publishing House, he would be killed. Mallory decided that Greenleaf had gone crazy, but he did not change his mind. That's why Greenleaf decided to kill Mallory. Riley went to the retired military veteran Eddy Kane, who specialized in explosives. Greenleaf went to a scrap yard where Kane practiced explosive charges and presented his plan to the veteran. In exchange for killing Mallory Greenleaf, he undertook to release Kane's guide on explosives. After talking to Kana Greenleaf, he decided to secure Alibi so that nobody would associate him with Mallory's death. For this reason, Greenleaf appeared in a restaurant late in the evening where Mallory agreed the conditions for cooperation with Neal and began to threaten Allan again, but Mallory did nothing of these threats. Later Greenleaf went to a certain pub and continued to libration there. At one point he initiated a row because he did not taste a drink given. Greenleaf was so aggressive that the decision was made to throw it away. Later, he specially caused a bump with a bus of an older marriage. The bus driver for the sake of peace agreed to blame himself and the matter was dealt with amicably. Later, the police found a drunk Greenleafa in the car. Greenleaf did not want to cooperate, so he hit the hole. When sobering up, he was taken to interrogate by lieutenant Columbo. The lieutenant released Greenleaf and his lawyer recording and asked if they recognized someone on the recording. Then Greenleaf said that he recognized Mallory on the recording. At that time, Columbo informed Greenleaf that Mallory was murdered and the publisher decided to testify despite his lawyer's opposition. Finally, Greenleaf and Columbo made an appointment that the lieutenant would visit the publisher as he had any questions. Shortly afterwards, Columbo appeared at Greenleafa and informed him that his weapon was found and that Mallory died from her. Greenleaf was sure he was after him. However, his lawyer David Chase presented him with Alibi. He also informed his client that someone tried to set him into a crime. After leaving, Columbo Greenleaf called Kane and made an appointment with a veteran. At the meeting, they both drank champagne, which Greenleaf brought. At that time, they talked about Eddy's ideas for bombs. At some point, Kane felt bad and after a while he fell unconscious to the floor. Then Greenleaf wrote on Eddy's machine a summary to Mallory's book to create a seemingly that Allan made plagiarism. Finally, Greenleaf took a grenade and unlocked him. He put him in his hand and left. Greenleaf then drove away at a safe distance, then lit a cigarette. At that time there was a sound of an explosion. Some time later Columbo came to the Greenleaf's office and informed about Kane's death. Greenleaf then gave a policeman a copy of the summary of Mallory's book, which was to write Kane and informed that the veteran threatened him and Mallory that they would regret how they would give his ideas without his consent. Shortly afterwards, Columbo invited Greenleafa to the Mallory office and proved to him the order of the murder of Allan, creating false evidence and giving false testimonies. The fate of Greenleafa remain unknown due to the end of the episode, but it can be assumed that Greenleaf was arrested for his crimes.
