Ray (also known as Ringo) is one of two secondary antagonists of the SML YouTube short "Home Alone." He was a partner of Brooklyn T. Guy (who was called George) and Simmons (who was called Paul) until he was killed by a bowling ball.
He was voiced by Lovell Stanton.
Appearance[]
Ray wore a black robber mask, but unlike Brooklyn Guy and Simmons, he wasn't completely dressed in black since he wore a blue shirt with white stripes on it and the back of his robber mask is gray. He has blue and black eyes.
Biography[]
He appeared as an antagonist in the video, Home Alone where he was one of the burglars that tried to rob Bowser's house. He first appeared when he showed up late and then Brooklyn questioned Ray what he's wearing. Ray explained to Brooklyn that he bought a new shirt from Bell's and asked him if he likes it, but Brooklyn told him to wear black clothing. Ray was confused and thought that Brooklyn told him to "dress up like a criminal" and then Brooklyn clarified that he should be dressed like a criminal, but not a criminal from the 40s or a criminal from a cartoon. Immediately after that, Ray said that Brooklyn should be more specific, making Brooklyn somewhat frustrated.
Before the trio of robbers prepared for the house robbery, Simmons decides that he, Brooklyn Guy and Ray should establish codenames. Brooklyn T. Guy decides to call himself George (after George Harrison), Simmons decides to call himself Paul (after Paul McCartney) and Ray decides to call himself Ringo (after Ringo Starr).
After Junior puts a bowling ball on top of the door, Ringo walks in the house but immediately dies while being crushed by the bowling ball. When Officer Goodman shows up at the door to arrest George, he notices Ringo's body and tries to ask Ringo if he needs medical attention, but he never responded to the police officer as he was killed by a bowling ball. After that, he never appeared again.
Trivia[]
- Despite saying "ladies first" when he walks in Bowser's house just before his death, Ringo/Ray's gender is male.
- According to Brooklyn, Ray had a family. However, it is currently unknown who his wife or children are.
- Unlike Brooklyn Guy, Simmons, Sharon and Elmo, the other antagonists of the Home Alone series, Ringo is so far the only antagonist in the SML version of the Home Alone series to be a one-time character as he never returned in any future SML videos after he died in his first and only appearance unlike most SML characters who die but come back. It is unknown if he will ever return again or if he will stay permanently deceased.
