The Rinshi are supporting antagonists in both Juken Sentai Gekiranger and its western adaptation Power Rangers Jungle Fury.
Juken Sentai Gekiranger[]
The Rinshi are Jiangshi-warriors who serve as soldiers of Rinjuken Akugata. They were originally RinJyuKen Warriors who died in the GekiRin Rebellion who have been revived with the "Rinzai" technique.
They are led by Mele, who oversees their training. If a Rinshi completes the Chamber of Trials and defeats all the other Rinshi inside single-handedly, they will be promoted to Rinrinshi and obtain the power to assume Beast-Men forms.
Power Rangers Jungle Fury[]
The Rinshi are the soldiers of Dai Shi's army. Certain Rinshi are selected by Dai Shi and Camille to receive animal totems that upgrade them into Rinshi Beasts, warriors with the fighting style of an animal. Rinshi Beasts are much stronger than normal Rinshi and possess the ability to talk.
