Rish Loo is a minor antagonist in the animated TV series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He is a minister serving Gungan Boss Lyonie, whom he manipulates in order to arrange a Separatist invasion of Naboo.
Biography[]
Rish Loo was a member of the Gungan High Council during the Clone Wars. He acted as a priest to Boss Lyonie of Naboo, but was secretly a spy working with Count Dooku.
Using his knowledge of mystical powers, he was able to bring Lyonie under his influence with a necklace, forcing him into planning a Gungan invasion of Naboo with Separatist forces. The plot was discovered by Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala and Jar Jar Binks. When Anakin and Padmé came to the Lyonie's aid, Loo stabbed the Boss and fled.
Later, he gave a speech to the assembled Gungan warriors before the planned attack, telling them that Boss Lyonie had been murdered and framing Naboo for it. But then, Jar Jar suddenly appeared before them, disguised as Lyonie (who was recovering), and exposed Loo as a traitor.
Rish Loo then fled on a speeder bike to his secret lair where he was to meet with Dooku, intending to lead Anakin, who pursued him, into a trap. When he arrived there, Dooku immediately killed him for his incompetence.
