The Roadhouse Thug is a minor antagonist in Sonic the Hedgehog. He is an aggressive thug at Piston Pit, who tried to get back at Sonic.
He was portrayed by Brad Kelly.
Biography[]
The Roadhouse Thug appears at the Piston Pit, where he and two other thugs confront Sonic and Tom by saying that they don’t like their kind, which was hipsters. But when Sonic hits him with a bottle, he overdose hitting him with his strength. Eventually, the Roadhouse Thug commits a fight at the bar when he attended to punch Tom. Just as he is about to charge at Sonic, he uses his freeze/slow motion by putting a bear mask from the bear trophy on him. Once the motion vanishes, he charges through the window, and crashes it.
The next day, at the Pistol Pit, the Roadhouse Thug with a cervical cast from the window crash incident. He was questioned about Sonic and Tom by Agent Stone, and he refused to cooperate. So, Dr. Robotnik stepped in prompting him to intimidate him. But after the interaction, he throws him out the same window that he mistakenly charged to for trying to charge at Sonic. He was last seen in the Sonic 8-bit ending credits at the bar where it went again where he had the bear mask equipped on his head. It's completely unknown what happens to the Roadhouse Thug after getting thrown at the window twice by Sonic and Robotnik. However, it can be assumed that his neck bandage could've caused serious pain, as his underlining bones would've been injured underneath the bandage. In fact, It can be implied that the Roadhouse Thug had to stay in the hospital for a couple weeks and wasn’t allowed to go to any rough location after his recovery.
