|“||I am the Empire.||„|
|~ Fel's most famous quote.|
Roan Fel is one of the main characters in the comic book series Star Wars: Legacy, one of the two main antagonists of the last chapter. He is the leader of the new Empire, which is initially a more benevolent continuation of the Galactic Empire. He was also a leader of the imperial knights and a descendant of Jagged Fel and Jaina Solo, and is thus related to Leia Organa and Han Solo.
After the Sith warlord Darth Krayt usurps his throne, Fel organizes an "empire in exile", in hopes of retaking his throne. As the series begins, he is something of a benevolent dictator, but he grows increasingly ruthless as his hold on power is threatened until he is willing to kill as many people as he deems "necessary" in order to retake his throne.
Roan is the third Emperor of the Fel dynasty and grandson of Jagged Fel, the leader of the Moff council during the "Second Galactic Civil War". He commands the Imperial Knights, an order of Force-sensitive warriors tasked with protecting the Emperor and his servants. His empire joined the new Sith Order led by Darth Krayt during the Sith-Imperial war, taking control of Coruscant and defeating the Galactic Alliance. Shortly afterward, however, is deposed by Krayt. Imperial forces then split between Fel's loyalists and those serving Krayt.
Seven years later, Fel gains control over Bastion, starting the Second Imperial Civil War. Joining the remnants of the Galactic Alliance led by Admiral Duros Gar Stazi and the survivors of the New Jedi Order, Fel and his allies coordinate an attack against the Sith, defeating Krayt's army. During the final battle, Fel decides to destroy his enemies and his new allies in a single attack with a biological weapon created by Darth Maladi called Omega Red. However, he is defeated in the last minute by Imperial Knight Antares Draco, who strikes him down with his lightsaber. Fel is succeeded by his daughter, Empress Marasiah Fel.
