Robbie, sometimes known as Greg, is a minor antagonist in Season 2 of the TV Series, LEGO Jurassic World: Legend of Isla Nublar. He was a thief disguised as an Intern, mainly Simon Masrani's assistant, who acted nice and curious but later, was found out to have played Masrani and the rest of the employees so that he could steal the two Indominus rex eggs Dr. Wu had created.
He was voiced by Aidan Drummond.
History[]
Robbie was first seen helping Simon and comforting him after he was fired by his brother, Sedrick. He then followed along with everyone else to see the Computer Interface created by Sedrick himself. Robbie seemed excited, and was pulled to the side by Simon and Dr. Wu to his laboratory. He followed them into the lab, where he and Simon was happy that there could be new fun stuff for Jurassic World, and not listening to Sedrick. He then showed his dark side by maliciously looking at the two eggs and giving a devilish grin, before being called by Simon to move along.
Robbie was then seen patiently waiting for Simon to break the doors to Sedrick's office, but stepped back after Sedrick threw boxes at Simon to confirm that he's fired and he's not coming back. He then watched as Simon cries over Sedrick's photo with John Hammond, and tells him that everything will be okay, and then walked away. He was next seen walking into Wu's lab, and then showed his true colors by grinning at the sight of the eggs, and then stealing them out of the hatchery. After stealing the eggs, he out them in a suveneur bag and then stole a jeep to ride to the park entrance and escape the island undetected.
While riding the jeep, he was proud of stealing the eggs, but got scared of Rexy running by, and then almost had himself killed by letting the jeep tip over. As he stopped, he saw the eggs hatch early because they where out of the hatchery, and then has concluded that since he's the first thing they saw, they must think he's their mother. However, because they where born early, their mind structuring wasn't completed yet, and they attacked and nearly killed Robbie before storming off to cause as much chaos as they can, and defeat each other. Claire, Simon, Sedrick, and Dr. Wu then found him in the bushes, scratched up and injured by the twins. He was then cuffed to the jeep, and arrested for his crimes.
Trivia[]
- While the Computer Interface is the main antagonist of both episodes, Robbie controlled the plot of episode two by stealing the eggs and having the Indominus twins released early because of genetic issues, and causing most of the destruction in the episode.
- Robbie is very similar to Dennis Nedry, as both are saboteurs that stole valuable pieces of a park (eg. Dennis stealing the embryos and Robbie stealling the eggs), and almost had the same demise, as Nedry was eaten by a Dilophosaurus in the car and Robbie was attacked in similar ways by the Indominus twins.
