Robero Ringert is a minor antagonist of the manga and anime series Black Clover, serving as a major antagonist during the Heart Kingdom Joint Struggle Arc. He was one of the dark disciples of Vanica Zogratis of the Dark Triad.
He is voiced by Wataru Tsuyuzaki in Japanese and by Jeremy Inman in English.
Appearance[]
Robero’s body shape is round with a large but short build. He has short messy corn yellow-colored hair.
He gains devil-like features when activating his devil powers, a pair of black small horns on his head, a pair of small dark bat wings on his back, and dark spots around his mouth.
Personality[]
Robero is somewhat suicidal which is led from his great enjoyement of losing own of life before receiving his life back from Vanica whom he also shows great respects toward.
Biography[]
Being a presumably a regular magic knight of the Spade Kingdom that would later on be conquered by the Zogratis Siblings, Robero would agree to receive devil powers to boost his magic from and start working as one of the Dark Disciples to them. He is placed within Vanica’s group alongside the other Dark Disciples who travel to the Heart Kingdom to take over, with their main target being the princess of the kingdom Lolopechka. Some attackers of the spade kingdom are separated to attack different locations with Robero aiding Vanica to face Lolopechka. He breaks into the princess’ room before getting attacked by Mimosa Vermillion with the help of Undine to launch her Magic Cannon Flower spell that deals great damage to him. But, thanks to Vanica’s healing, he soon recovers from his injuries. Ordered by Vanica, he restrains Mimosa with his extended tongue. But Mimosa’s magic fights back by wrapping vines at Robero.
Robero is soon having his head and tongue inadvertently chopped open by Vanica's Red Beast. But he quickly recovers, and takes pleasure in Vanica's magic. When Lolopechka lifts Vanica into her Ludic Sanctuary, Robero endeavors to dissuade Mimosa, but she remains steadfast, unwilling to yield. He convinces Mimosa to surrender but is denied. Upon succeeding on defeating and capturing Lolopechka, Vanica, with no regards activates the Exploding Life spell on her disciples, causing them to become human bombs before exploding, ending Robero and her other disciples.
Abilities[]
- Tongue Magic: Robero can extend and expand his tongue to wrap around his enemies with great force to prevent them from moving.
- Resurrection: Being a dark disciple of the Dark Triad, Robero cannot die with ease as he is granted immortality from Vanica that can recover seemingly any of the damages he takes.
