Robert Tramer is a minor antagonist in Halloween Ends and is the abusive father of bully Terry Tramer and the son of Ben Tramer.

He is portrayed by Tony DeMil.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Robert was born in the small town of Haddonfield, Illinois sometime in 1982 to local resident Ben Tramer and an unnamed and unseen mother. He attended Haddonfield High School alongside a teenage Karen Strode sometime in the mid to late 1990s to the year 2000 where he played American football as a linebacker for the Haddonfield High Football Team and probably could have also been a member of the Haddonfield Class of 2000. A few years after that, he married a woman with the first name Erin and had a son named Terry in 2005 with her whilst he also drove a huge car and might have been a big small town businessman still living in Haddonfield.

Halloween Ends[]

At the end of October 2022, Robert finds his car's tyres broken down, blaming Terry, he brings him and the car to Ronald Prevo's salvage yard and over there, shows the car to Prevo and blames and publicly verbally abuses Terry for breaking it, calling him an "idiot" and also smacking his head many times. After that, he gets his car fixed and leaves the salvage yard with Terry.

Later on, Corey mentions and taunts Terry about his father and how he abuses him, telling him that this is the reason why he bullies people which causes the enraged Terry to throw Corey down a bridge and leave with his friends Margo, Billy and Stacy.

Personality[]

Robert is a very abusive and short-tempered man who takes all his anger out on his son Terry by verbal, emotional and implied physical abuse for all the stupid things Terry does. He also treats Terry like garbage and may not like him as a son which is the major factor for Terry becoming a bully and taking all his anger out on people including Corey Cunningham.

Trivia[]

  • In the novelization of the movie, more of Robert is shown (including the fact that him and Terry are related to Ben Tramer which was never shown or mentioned in the movie), and he has a larger presence.
  • There is a scene in the novelization at Terry's house where it is revealed that the reason why Robert abuses Terry is because he wanted him to join the Haddonfield High Football Team and is unhappy with his son being in the Marching Band instead because when Robert was Terry's age, he was a popular linebacker for the Football team and most probably a jock in his teenage years which explains his short temper and Terry's jock attitude and temper as well coming from his father.
  • One could say that if Robert never abused Terry then he wouldn't have bullied Corey and if Corey might not have witnessed Robert's abuse of Terry then he may not have been pushed down the bridge by Terry after he insulted him about his father which would have then not caused Corey to become a psychopath or maybe one in a different and less dangerous way not involving Michael Myers.
