Robo Rita is the main antagonist of Mighty Morphin: Once & Always. She is Alpha 8 possessed with the evil essence of Rita Repulsa.
Biography[]
In 2022, Billy attempts to reconstruct Zordon's essence but gets Rita's instead. Taking over Alpha 8 as her vessel and morphing it into a new body, Rita is effectively reborn but devoid of goodness and any redeeming qualities that the original possessed, effectively a separate entity to the latter who had long became Mystic Mother. During a fight on the cliff-side, she overwhelms Billy with Putties until the other Rangers arrive. During the resulting fight, she fights Billy who damages her face so she tries to kill him but ends up murdering Trini before leaving. However, she lies to the Rangers that she is going to the Dark Dimension, whilst secretly returning to her long abandoned Palace where she resurrects the long dead Mighty Minotaur and Snizzard to act as her muscle.
A year after the death of Trini, Rita confronts the Rangers by Trini's grave and has everyone besides Billy and Zack turned into figurines as the two escape in a new RadBug. Despite the minor set-back, she returns to the Moon only to need more energy as the power drain would take too long. As such, Rita launches simultaneous Putty attacks across the Earth to draw out the Power Rangers. When an attack at the Youth Center lures out the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers again (made up of Billy and Zack as well as Rocky and Katherine), Rita sends her monsters to capture them since they will be the last bits of power she will need only for them to fail again.
When Minh confronts the monsters and tries to morph again, Rita confronts her and she tries to avenge her mother only for Rita to defeat the Praying Mantis style before seemingly killing Minh. After freeing her monsters, she confronts the Rangers in the Moon Palace after they deduce her plan which she reveals but Billy tries to then destroy the Snizzard so they can free the captive Rangers without hurting them. As she tries to kill Billy like she did Trini though, Minh takes the blast instead and seemingly kills her but she remembers her mother's past and gains the Yellow Ranger powers so the team morphs and fights Rita and her minions. When Kat tries to destroy the console though, Rita reminds her of what would happen to the captive Rangers before she grabs and enlarges the Snizzard to make it harder to destroy him.
However, with her back turned, Billy is able to impale Rita with his Power Lance and seemingly kill her before they destroy the Mighty Minotaur and summon the Dino Megazord. After the Minotaur's death though, Rita reboots and activates her machine which opens a portal back to the day of the dumpster with her even ignoring the Snizzard's death in her glee. Before she can help her younger self though, Minh pins Rita with the Power Daggers before Rocky and Billy free the Rangers and Kat obliterates the machine; bringing an end to Rita's plan. As the robot swears revenge, Zack obliterates Robot Rita Repulsa with a shot from his Power Axe cannon; avenging Trini and the countless innocents Rita Repulsa has ever hurt and bringing the reign of the space witch to an end once and for all.
Personality[]
Robo-Rita, she was a personification of only the original Rita's evil; making her more competent, similar to her husband Lord Zedd. Unlike her original incarnation, Robo-Rita cared little for her past self's MO and decided to take a great deal of time to plan her revenge. However, this didn't stop her from being petty and trying to kill a Ranger with a powerful magic blast, for damaging her face; arguably a fault enhanced by her lack of restraint. Despite this, Robo-Rita planned to go back in time and team up with her 1993 self and kill all Rangers before they ever got recruited. When defeated, Robo-Rita could only scream death threats that she couldn't carry through on.

Powers and Abilities[]
- Strength: Robo-Rita was able to take down Minh with a single wand swing and flip Kat to the ground by thrusting her Wand.
- Genius Level Intellect: Despite her arrogance, Robo Rita was a very intelligent being as she was able to create a device capable of opening a time portal without any help.
- Teleportation: Rita could teleport to any location at will by instantly vanishing into thin air. Robo-Rita could teleport in enormous purple energy clouds.
- Skilled Fighter: Robo-Rita was an exceptionally good fighter, being able to overpower both Billy and three Power Rangers at once using just her Wand and bare hands.
- Reflexes: Robo-Rita was fast enough to catch Jason when the Snizzard threw him at her.
- Magic: Like her original self, Robo-Rita was a very skilled witch but was even more powerful and at least on par with Lord Zedd.
- Weapon Summoning: After being created, Robo-Rita could summon her Magic Wand in a flash of black-purple energy.
- Monster Creation: Robo-Rita was able to recreate the Mighty Minotaur and the Snizzard by herself without Finster's help.
Arsenal[]
- Magic Wand: Like her predecessor, Robo-Rita Repulsa wielded a gold-black magic wand but it was even more powerful.
- Energy Beams: Robo-Rita could fire powerful orange-black energy streams from her Wand. These were strong enough to cause large explosions and send Billy and Zack flying backwards.
- Shadow Energy Blast: Robo-Rita's most powerful attack where she would swing around her Wand to charge all of her energy into it before releasing a devastatingly powerful red energy beam surrounded by black mist-like energy at her enemies. This was able to obliterate Trini and would have killed Billy had Minh not taken the hit instead.
- Teleportation Lightning: Rita could fire blue ligntning from her Wand to instantly teleport herself and others as seen after she killed Trini.
- Energy Empowerment: Robo-Rita could charge her Wand up with purple energy to slash with great force. These were strong enough to knock each of the Rangers to the ground.
- Tractor Beams: Robo-Rita could fire blue energy ropes from her Wand to entangle her enemies and throw them around as seen with Billy.
- Monster Growth: Like before, Robo-Rita could throw her wand to make her monsters grow. Unlike before though, it created a small fissure which nonetheless large enough for required drawn geothermal energy to come out and enlarge the targeted monster.
- Energy Beams: Robo-Rita could fire powerful orange-black energy streams from her Wand. These were strong enough to cause large explosions and send Billy and Zack flying backwards.

- Robo-Rita successfully killed the first Yellow Ranger.
- Robo-Rita is the first main villain to have killed a Ranger permanently. The others: Ransik, Octomus the Master, and Evox/Venjix killed their Rangers but it was temporary. Other villains: Psycho Pink has temporarily killed the Galaxy Pink Ranger and Mirloc has killed the S.P.D. Blue Ranger's father.
