Robot-01 is supporting antagonist in the Scott Pilgrim franchise. He is a humanoid robot created by the Katayanagi Twins to fight Scott Pilgrim. Though the robot is pretty small in size, he was designed to attack Scott Pilgrim.
Appearance[]
Robot-01 is a small, white robot that has orange eyes and a head resembling a toaster. In the anime and game, however, some of his parts are red, like his boots and eyes, which are not orange in these adaptations.
Biography[]
Scott Pilgrim vs. the Universe[]
Created by The Katayanagi Twins, Robot-01 appears in volume 5 of the Novel series. Scott was attacked by him at Julie Powers' party. However, Scott eventually defeats him. Unfortunately, he leaves no rewards behind.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game[]
In The Game, Robot-01 appears as a boss in World 5 before the fight with The Katayanagi Twins. In World 7, the same robot later appears as an enemy in the Technobase before fighting the final boss.
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off[]
Robot-01 plays a significant role in the anime, as it follows the orders of Older Scott to send the Past Scott to the future.

- In the game, one of Robot-01's animations reveals that its head is actually a toaster which pops out a smiling piece of toast.
- It is the most representative Robot of the franchise, being that it appears both in the comic and in the video game and even in the board game Scott Pilgrim Miniatures the World!.
- He was the first character not to appear in the film who was confirmed to appear in the anime.
- He is treated like a son by the Katayanagi Twins.
