| ~ The Robot Babies |
The Robot Babies are minor antagonists of the Canadian animated sitcom Carl². They are robots created by Mr. Agar that debut in the episode "Cry Robot". They were later revealed to be evil, shown in the episode "Night of the Living Clones" inside and outside C2's dream.
Appearance[]
The Robot Babies are shiny metal robots who wear diapers (hence their name). In their good mode, they have green eyes with black pupils, and in their evil mode, they have red eyes with white pupils, and are never shown to smile in their evil mode.
History[]
In "Cry Robot", they are introduced as robots created by Mr. Agar as an assignment for the class to take care of as if they were real babies.
The Robot Babies return in the episode "Night of the Living Clones" inside C2's nightmare. After C2's evil clone C3 with Lorna lure him into the school basement, he finds one of Mr. Agar's Robot Babies that turns evil and chases him with the other Robot Babies. C2 tries to escape through a vent, but the Robot Babies still catch up to him. He finds a remote in one of the boxes used to control the Robot Babies and turns them back to good. C2 and the Robot Babies escape the basement, but the Science Guys appear and start attacking them. They defeat the Robot Babies until C2 tells them to assemble, so they fuse into one giant robot and barf on the Science Guys, leaving them defeated. Mr. Agar tells C2 he is messing with school property and will receive a month's worth of detention, but the Robot Baby crushes him with its foot.
When arriving back home, they encounter C3 standing on the roof. He sadistically tells C2 that Carl never made it back to Skye's house and tried climbing onto the Robot Baby, but it shakes him off under C2's orders. C3 claims it didn't hurt, but the Robot Baby sat on him and farted, killing him. However, Lorna appears and sends hundreds of Carl clones after C2 which makes him scream and wake up.
C2 tells Carl about what happened, not realizing he was still dreaming as the Giant Robot Baby grabs him from outside the house and eats him. In the morning, a package arrives and inside of it is revealed to be another Robot Baby. The episode ended with it activating.
