Multiple Robotnik's Incarnations appear as minor antagonists in the Sonic the Comic Online! webcomic, namely the story "Many Happy Returns". They are a group of Dr. Ivo Robotnik's past and future selves, summoned by the Main Viewer into the present as part of Emperor Metallix's posthumous revenge scheme.
History[]
Despite having been defeated, the Metallixes had a contingency plan which would have taken both Sonic and Robotnik down even in case of their destruction. As the Main Viewer remained active, he, upon the Emperor's orders, used his powers to transport multiple versions of Robotnik and Sonic from past and future (as well as Dr. Kintobor and Bravehog) into his time period, planning to have them battle until all timelines are destroyed. Unaware of who was behind their predicament, all Robotniks went after the present Sonic, then-fugitive from justice, while all Sonics went after the present Robotnik, then-Drakon Empire's puppet king.
Present Sonic fought off Robotnik's incarnations, who gave him a hard time in spite of his confidence. Suddenly the Robotniks realized that they didn't know which of them brought them all together. Sonic deduced that it had to be the present Robotnik, the only one not part of the group. He entered the Egg Bastion, only to find Robotnik having his hands full with Sonic's incarnations. Robotniks tracked Sonic to the Egg Bastion, and Reverse Robotnik used his magic to reveal the "mischief-maker" responsible for the incident, who turned out to be Main Viewer. This revelation gave Sonic an idea as to how stop the Metallixes' plan. He found the Chaotix, and brought Vector and Omni-Viewer to the bastion. There, the latter two attacked Main Viewer and wiped his programming, replacing it with a program of Vector's making, "Femni-Viewer". At Omni's request, she sent all time-displaced heroes and villains back into their original time periods. Before departing, Dictator Robotnik taunted Sonic over how, in contrast to Robotnik's ability to adapt and change, his counterparts looked mostly similar. Sonic retorted that one doesn't mess with a classic.
Members[]
- Dr. Ovi Kintobor - technically not Robotnik's past self, but rather a split personality sharing a body with him. He was a benevolent scientist who became Robotnik in a freak accident. As such, he doesn't do anything malicious when sent into a future, believing all the events to be merely a bad dream that he would eventually forget.
- Original Robotnik - Robotnik's original design, before he regenerated into his Adventures-inspired look. He comes from the time before he conquered Mobius, and it's revealed that he got the idea to use Omni-Viewer to get rid of Sonic during the time-travelling escapade.
- Dictator Robotnik - Robotnik from the time when he was still the ruler of Mobius. He comes from a time after "The Return of Chaotix" story, as he remembers Emperor Metallix's betrayal and attempt to erase him.
- Shanazar Robotnik - Robotnik from the time when he was the Grand Vizier of of Shanazar.
- Boy Robotnik - Robotnik presumably after he was somehow de-aged into a child, implied to succeed present-day Robotnik but preceed Reverse Robotnik.
- Reverse Robotnik - a complete opposite of most of the doctor's incarnations, in that rather than obese and relying on science, he is slim and uses magic. He is implied to succeed Boy Robotnik, and later becomes Robotnikat.
- Robotnikat - a result of Reverse Robotnik's encounter with Blaze the Cat, during which he was transformed into a cat himself. He is implied to preceed Rewoud Robotnik.
- Clockwork Robotnik - Robotnik whose body has mostly been replaced by cybernetics, which he now relies on for combat. He is implied to succeed Robotnikat and preceed Elder Robotnik.
- Elder Robotnik - elderly Robotnik, who relies on a flying walker frame to move around and remembers being most of other Robotniks. He is implied to succeed Rewound Robotnik, and preceeds Ghost Robotnik.
- Ghost Robotnik - Robotnik after he had died and now intends to haunt Sonic like he haunted him. Presumably the final incarnation of the doctor.

- To this day, Robotnikat is the only incarnation of Robotnik to make an appearance outside of the "Many Happy Returns" story.
- Adamis mentioned on DeviantArt that Robotnik's future incarnations are only the character's potential futures rather than his definite fate.
