Rocco, Zane and Jed are minor antagonists in the crime drama series Better Call Saul. They are three juvenile delinquents who hang around the Dog House and clash with Jimmy McGill.
They were portrayed respectively by Tommy Nelson, Carlin James and Cory Chapman.
History[]
When Jimmy is selling prepaid burner phones to street criminals, he approaches Rocco, Zane and Jed in his car and offers phones to them. They tell him they have their own phones and to leave, dismissing him as a "narc". After Jimmy has sold his stock of phones, the three confront him in the parking lot and demand the money, which he declines. The teenagers then beat him up and steal his profits.
Days later, Jimmy approaches the delinquents again at the laundromat, appearing to forgive them and proposing to pay them if they allow him to continue his drop phone business. The thugs reject his proposal and demand everything he has, with Rocco pulling out a switchblade, before deciding to rob him again. They chase and corner him in an alley. However, Jimmy has lured the thugs into a trap, as Huell Babineaux and Man Mountain, wearing ski masks, block the trio from behind and capture them. The delinquents are gagged and dragged into a piñata warehouse, where they are bound and hung upside down from the ceiling as the two masked men smash piñatas with baseball bats behind them. Rocco repeatedly apologizes to Jimmy, who makes him swear that he, Zane and Jed will never harm him or his business again and will tell others to do the same. Huell swings a bat at Rocco's face, stopping short of hitting him, before leaving with Man Mountain. Jimmy tells Rocco this is their only warning and leaves the three hanging.
