Rokuroneri is the minor antagonist of Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, appearing in Episode 3 as the primary antagonist.
He is an arrogant Ayakashi, at the service of Gedoshu and under the command of Doukoku Chimatsuri and Shitari of the Bones. Rokuroneri possessed a special ability to extend his arms with enormous fists to the long distances and attack his enemies from the underground. He could also perform a spit attack with his mouth. Rokuroneri was sent by his masters, the Gedoshu leaders to attack Tokyo and destroy the Shinkengers, and also to scare and horrify the citizens of the city in order to increase the level of Sanzu River in order for Gedoshu to flood the Earth and conquer the planet. He was one of the first earlier Ayakashi to fight and be defeated by Shinkengers.
He was voiced by Takashi Nagasako, who previously voiced Inventor Grotch, an Antlion Nezire, Kairikibou, Garubaria, Energy Thief Uugo, Gomubi-Ron, Algolian Baurbon, Maka an Incinerator Banki and later voiced Tomarezu of the Tsuchinoko, Shieldon, a Shovelloid, Debo Royaroya, an Advanced Yokai Oumukade, Gabatt Kababacci, a Beef Rib World and the Great Beef Rib World.
Biography[]
Rokuroneri first appeared in the episode, when he arrived at the Rokumon Junk at Sanzu River. Rokuroneri arrived at the Junk and met his masters, the Gedoshu overlord Doukoku Chimatsuri and Doukoku's right-hand man Shitari of the Bones. Doukoku and Shitari were happy to see their new warrior needed for achieving his plans of conquering the Earth and greeted him. Rokuroneri greeted his masters and volunteered at once to be chosen for a mission of destroying Tokyo and eliminating the Gedoshu's archenemies Shinkengers. Doukoku ad Shituri agreed and tasked their loyal underling to attack the Tokyo, destroy the city and Shinkengers and scare and horrify the population of Tokyo in order for the humans's despair to increase the level of Sanzu River and Gedoshu would flood the Earth and invade and take over the plaet.
Rokuroneri attacked Tokyo and started terrorizing the citizens. While Chiaki, the ShinkenGreen was hanging out amd playing with his friends Masato and Kouji, Rokuroneri appeared at the Surface and started attacking the people with his stretching arms. Chiaki attacked Rokuroneri and tried to fight the demon, but was easily beaten and overwhelmed by the demon, due to the Chiaki's lack of training. While Chiaki fought the monster, all other people hid and searched for a cover. Takeru, the ShinkenRed arrived and saved his friend Chiaki. The other Shinkengers arrived and Takeru fought Rokuroneri, but was still easily beaten and overpowered by the monster. Rokuroneri was trimphing, but Ayakashi started dryng out and turning to stone and he was forced to return to the Netherworld and restore his powers ad health. From this time, Takeru tasked Chiaki to train and find a way to defeat Rokuroneri by the next day, otherwise ShinkenGreen wud be quit.
Rokuroneri returned to the Netherworld and restored his powers and health in Sanzu River. He again met with his superiors, Lord Doukoku and Shituri and they praised and congratulated ther servant for his success of increasing the level of Sanzu River with human fear and despair. Rokuroneri promised to his masters that he would return to the Human Realm and this time he would finish off Shinkengers.
Throughout the whole night, Chiaki trained himself and created a new technique of sensing the underground waves in order to predict the attacks of Rokuroneri. The next day Rokuroneri again attacked the city with an army of Nanashi and again encountered the team of four Shinkengers, but without Chiaki. At first Rokuroneri fought the four Rangers, but then Chiaki arrived and started fighting to defeat and get revenge on the demon for beating him in their previous battle. This time Chiaki outsmarted the demon and tricked Ayakashi into chasing him with his stretching arms and while the villain chased ShinkenGreen with his arms, Rokuroneri tangled his arms and couldn't return and move them. Chiaki then destroyed Rokuroneri with his Withering Wind attack.
Rokuroneri then revived himself and Chiaki wanted to finish the monster himself. ShinkenGreen summoned his Kuma Origami Mecha and started fighting Rokuroneri, but the Chiaki's comrades joined him and formed ShinkenOh. ShinkenOh fought the demon and when Rokuroneri tried to use his primary ability if stretching arms against the Rangers, the heroes predicted his attacks with their new technique and sliced the villain's arms. The Rangers then destroyed the Ayakashi with their Shinken Samurai Slash.
