Roman Reynolds is a minor antagonist in the 2024 Japanese action-adventure RPG video game Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. He is a Hawaiian police officer who works with the Barracudas gang by pinning their criminal activities onto innocent civilians with fabricated evidence and false witnesses. After his defeat at the hands of Ichiban Kasuga and his allies, he is forced into helping them infiltrate District Five to find Chitose Fujinomiya.
Biography[]
In the past, Roman is known to help the Barracudas, A Hawaiian gang that specializes in counterfeiting, to evade the law by covering their criminal activities by framing civilians. One of which was the taxi driver Eric Tomizawa, who took the fall for a robbery committed by Dwight Mendez, leader of the Barracudas. Despite his innocence, the false evidence and witnesses kept pilling up. He was told that he could either serve five years in prison, or try to fight the case and risk having his sentence tripled, Tomizawa ended up choosing the former. During his imprisonment, he found the truth about the robbery and that his girlfriend had a miscarriage. With his life ruined by Dwight and Reynolds, he was forced to join the Yamai Syndicate and swore to get revenge, but never had the courage to act on it.
Years later, Tomizawa managed to get his vengeance on Reynolds while helping Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu to find Chitose Fujinomiya. The heroes tracked down the Officer at his favorite bar and after a short fight, Roman was defeated and is forced to help them inside District Five, the Barracuda's headquarters.
Whilst escorting the heroes through the Barracuda's base of operations, Roman was betrayed by the very gang he worked with when a Barracuda thug kills him with a machete.
