Romina, Saint of the Bud is a major antagonist in the 2022 dark fantasy action role-playing video game DLC, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. She is a saint of the Scarlet Rot and acts as the guardian of the Church of the Bud, where she prevents those from destroying the sealing tree to Enir Ilim.
Appearance[]
Romina appears to be a large, pink humanoid being, with her lower half mixed with the parts of a scorpion stinger and a centipede. In the second phase of her battle, she is able to deploy large, butterfly-like wings.
History[]
Very little is known of Romina's past, but it is believed that she was once an ordinary saint that found herself a victim in Messmer's waring campaign across the Land of Shadow. At some point, after her church had burned down, she came across the divine elements of the Scarlet Rot and shaped it into what it is now. This also led to her becoming into the parasitic creature she is now, causing her to spread the Scarlet Rot across the Land of Shadow.
