Ron Galuzzo is an antagonist in Season Eight of Dexter. He is a suspect in the Brain Surgeon case and one of Dr. Evelyn Vogel's patients who is ultimately revealed to be a cannibalistic serial killer.
While in school, Galuzzo strangled his best friend to death. When he was arrested for the crime, he managed to convince his psychiatrist Dr. Evelyn Vogel that a bully killed him. She later discovered the truth, however, and withdrew her recommendation for leniency, leading to Galuzzo being institutionalized until he was 21.
During Dexter Morgan's investigation into the a serial killer called The Brain Surgeon, he considered Galuzzo a possible suspect, and stalked him at his job, selling exercise equipment at a fitness mall. Pretending to be interested in Galuzzo's merchandise, he allowed Galuzzo to measure his body/fat ratio (something that would take on a more disturbing meaning later on) and showed him Vogel's patient book, confirming that he pretended not to remember her and causing Dexter to suspect he was hiding something.
Later, Dexter broke into Galuzzo's house, and found that everything was a mess except the kitchen. Investigating further, he found human remains, including a box full of organs and a marinated brain, in Galuzzo's kitchen and realized he was a killer, but not the same kind as the Brain Surgeon.
Dexter later sedated Galuzzo, and killed him in his kitchen with one of his knives off-camera.

Trivia[]
Ron is the only person in the TV series that was a cannibal, though there were a few in the novels, such as Bobby Acosta and Victor Chapin.
Ron is also the only person in the series to have legitimately shocked and disgusted Dexter when he found human body parts in his kitchen and slow cooker.
Dexter's ritual with Ron is the final one to be carried out in the show's original run.
