Ronald "Ronnie" James McGorvey is a major antagonist in the 2006 drama film Little Children.

Biography[]
Ronnie J. McGorvey is a middle-aged man living with his elderly mother, May, in a suburban neighborhood. He is a convicted pedophile who served time in prison for indecent exposure and inappropriate sexual behavior with minors. Despite his release, he remains ostracized by the community and is under constant scrutiny from neighbors and a local watch group. Ronnie struggles with his impulses and relies heavily on his mother, who is overly protective and hopes for his rehabilitation.
May arranges a date for Ronnie with a woman named Sheila, but the encounter ends disastrously when he reveals his issues and makes an inappropriate request. After May's sudden death, Ronnie becomes emotionally unhinged. In a state of despair and self-loathing, he attempts self-castration and is found bleeding in the park. He is taken to the hospital, leaving his fate uncertain.
