Rory is a minor antagonist in Season 1 of the YouTube Red/Netflix series, Cobra Kai.
He is one of Kyler Park's close friends and one of Miguel Diaz's bullies that was indirectly responsible for setting up Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso's rivalry.
He is portrayed by stunt performer Dawson Towery.
Biography[]
Rory is first shown with Kyler, Brucks, and their gang where they harass Miguel at the strip mall's parking lot after buying liquor there underage. As Rory and Kyler, alongside Brucks continued making fun of him, this angered Johnny Lawrence, who begins to fight off the bullies one by one. Although Johnny easily beats them, he is arrested by the police for beating up a few minors despite having defended Miguel from them.
Rory later attended Samantha LaRusso's pool party alongside Kyler Park and Yasmine. During the Halloween dance, Rory later aided Kyler and Brucks and the rest of their gang in beating up Miguel in the school's locker room. The fight leaves Miguel badly injured.
Rory last appeared when he hangs out with Kyler as he spreaded sexual rumors on Samantha LaRusso. He is easily beat by Miguel alongside Kyler thanks to his karate lessons he learned from Johnny Lawrence.
Though he is never seen afterwards, Rory was mentioned in the fourth season by Kyler when he informed his fellow Cobra Kai's that he bought tickets for the drive-in.
Trivia[]
He is one of the few bullies alongside Brucks that doesn't even join the Cobra Kai dojo when it was brought back under John Kreese.
