Captain Ross was a supporting antagonist in Series 3 of Primeval, he was a soldier working for Christine Johnson military liaison.
He was portrayed by Micheal Wildman
Biography[]
Ross is first seen leading a group of soldiers through an anomaly to the future city to recover the artefact. After finding it, they were forced to abandon it when a pack of Future Predators ambushed them and killed the soldiers. Ross escaped back to the present where he was reprimanded by Christine Johnson for leaving the artifact despite the fact that his men had died trying to find it.
He is later seen with Christine when she was viewing surveillance footage of the ARC, and was asked to call the Minister for her when they saw the artifact was there. He and his men invaded and took over the ARC, but the team had already fled with the artefact. When Becker, the ARC's head of security, pointed his gun at Ross, the latter revealed that all his soldiers had surrounded him and forced Becker to surrender. When an Anomaly was detected at an abandoned cabin, he and another soldier went to the location and was drawn to the cabin where he found the artifact. After informing Christine, he confronted the team, who were being chased by Terror birds, and prepared to place them under arrest. The soldier Ross was with got ambushed and killed by one of the bird. Ross, panicking, tried to drive away but ended up driving over a landmine, dying instantly.
