Ross is the secondary antagonist of the 2016 animated film, The Angry Birds Movie. He is Leonard's dimwitted and incompetent minion who is also his first officer.
He was voiced by Tony Hale, who also played Doctor Undergear in Jake and the Never Land Pirates, James Suggs in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip, the Joker in Batman Ninja, Apothecary Gary in Amphibia, Doctor Psycho in Harley Quinn, Phillip Shoemaker in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Vaneé in LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Tales and Reverend Traske in Hocus Pocus 2.
Appearance[]
Ross has green skin like Leonard. He has a nose of a pig and a tail of a pig. He has white eyes like everyone in the franchise. He has ears, claws, teeth and a tongue like other pigs. He also has freckles.
Synopsis[]
Ross prepared the treadmill for Leonard, then he thinks that the treadmill has stopped. He presses the buttons multiple times. He accidentally reversed the treadmill. He saw Leonard snatch the remote from him. He tells him that he is sorry. He even gets on the treadmill, then he gets stuck under the treadmill, then he slipped away. then he bounces on the treadmill. He gets hurt by the treadmill, then he uses the remote. then it reversed. He presses the remote's buttons, then he pushed himself off the treadmill. He goes to the birds, then he saw Red. He goes next to Leonard. then he is told by Leonard. He hugs the birds, like Stella. He attempts to hug Terrence, but he thinks that Terrence is not a hugger. At Stella's Flock's performance, he along with Leonard offered the Birds special gifts including, the Trampoline with John Hamm and Oinky on and the slingshot. Along with several fruits, He and the other pigs slingshotted Red for demonstration. He accompanied Earl, Leonard, and a few other Pigs in a tour of Bird Island led by Stella and laughed at Red's suspiciousness. He along with Leonard and the other Pigs steal the Birds' Eggs and sailed to Piggy Island. Ross tragically became one of the earliest casualties of the Battle of Pig City, after a rock hit him, while he was nonchalantly serenading other Pigs who were excited by the day they would feast on the Eggs they captured. When the Birds attack their city and Chuck, Bomb and Mighty Eagle save the Eggs that were about to be boiled, Ross along with Leonard and the other Pigs corner Red protecting the Blue Egg from the Pigs. As the cauldron falls spilling hot water across the floor, Ross and the other pigs, excluding Red and Leonard (who are fighting for the Blue Egg) flee to safety. Along with several other pigs, he was defeated in the Battle of Pig City after being blown up by a huge dynamite explosion but survived as well and then danced with Leonard, after planning to steal the Eggs again from the birds.
