Ross and Harlan are recurring villains in the Beavis and Butt-head cartoon series and the overarching antagonists in the 1996 film Beavis and Butt-Head Do America!.

Ross was voiced by Sam Johnson, and Harlan was voiced by Toby Huss.

Background[]

Ross and Harlan are burglars who live in the fictional town of Highland, Texas. They steal from houses, but will occasionally try to steal from larger places such as corporate buildings. So far, Ross and Harlan have not been caught by the police for their crimes.

History[]

Ross and Harlan debuted in the episode Stewart Moves Away. Teenagers Beavis and Butt-head noticed that their neighbor, Stewart Stevenson, and his family weren't home. Instead, they found Ross and Harlan robbing the place. The burglars described themselves as "Moving Men". By taking advantage of Beavis and Butt-head's stupidity, Ross and Harlan convinced the teenagers to help with robbing the place. After taking the most valuable stuff and breaking the rest, the burglars drove away in a van. Moments later, Stewart and his family returned home. They were shocked to find their home robbed and destroyed. Stewart's dad, Mr. Stevenson, was upset over the fact that Beavis and Butt-head were dumb enough to assist the robbery. Beavis and Butt-head walk away from the scene without caring. It is obvious as to how the Stevens reacquired their possessions; they bought them back.

In the animated movie Beavis and Butt-head Do America, the burglars stole the TV belonging to Beavis and Butt-head. This led the teenagers to search Highland for a new TV. They eventually met Muddy Grimes in a local motel who was drunk at the time. Due to Muddy's intoxication, he accidentally sent Beavis and Butt-head to Las Vegas which initiated the duo's mission in the film. It was later revealed that Muddy mistook Beavis and Butt-head for the hit men who he originally hired for the mission. The hit men were Ross and Harlan themselves. They didn't find out that their mission was taken Beavis and Butt-head. The burglars abandoned the TV and decided to steal from rich people. Beavis and Butt-head found their TV near the end of the film.

Ross and Harlan appeared in the episode Tech Support. They robbed a building where Beavis and Butt-head temporarily worked as tech supporters. They attempted to steal computers, but failed when Beavis and Butt-head already took them.
