~ Roxie to Kim |
Roxanne "Roxie" Richter is a supporting character in Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. She is Ramona Flowers' fourth evil ex and a former member of the League of Evil Exes.
Unlike her original counterpart, this version of the character is portrayed more sympathetic.
She is voiced by Mae Whitman, who also voiced Rose in American Dragon Jake Long.
Biography[]
This version takes place in an alternate timeline created by an Older Scott Pilgrim who attempted to prevent his past self from meeting Ramona in the first place. Roxie first appears alongside the rest of the League in Episode 2, when Matthew Patel, after "killing" Scott, attempts to take control of the League. Lucas ultimately sides with Matthew after he bests Graves in a fight, taking control of Graves's company and the League by comparison.
She later appears in Episode 3, where she encounters Ramona in a video store. When Ramona brushes off their old relationship as "just college roommates", Roxy starts a fight in the video store, eventually sending the two into various movies. In the final moments of the fight, Roxy expresses her frustrations over how Ramona ended their relationship, which Ramona, realizing her mistake, apologizes for. Roxy ultimately wins the fight, and the two reconcile. At the end of the episode, Ramona tells Roxy about how Scott may be alive, and conceives of the idea of interviewing all her other exes. Roxy also shares a kiss with Sex Bob-Omb band member Kim Pine, but the two share no sparks, though Roxy expresses interest in Kim's coworker.
Roxy then appears in the finale of the show, where she is teleported by Older Scott to subspace. She gains a sword from Ramona's bag, which she uses during the fight, but is eventually teleported back to the play. She is later seen trying to help Todd regain his vegan powers.
Appearance[]
Roxie is a short, fair-skinned young woman with dyed blonde hair tied in two buns. Just like in the comics and movie, her natural hair color is unknown.
She is seen wearing a sleeveless sweater, shorts, boots, a studded bracelet, and a fishnet fingerless glove. Additionally, she sometimes wears a red mask with fangs on her mouth.
