Royal Ripper is a minor antagonist in One-Punch Man. He is a member of the Monster Association. He is also depicted to being a urban legend. He was eventually killed by Garou.
He is voiced by Shinnosuke Tachibana.
Appearance[]
Royal Ripper is a slim Mysterious Being. He has long black hair. Most of his body is covered with white bandages, including his face, leaving only his right eye visible. He has both of his hands amputated and are replaced by 2 large blades.
Personality[]
As noted by Tareo, Royal Ripper is a blood-thirsty and extremely callous murder who became infamous for kidnapping children. He is also said to not follow the rules given to him and prefers to do things in his own ways, as noted Phoenix God for his concerns for sending him alongside Bug God to watch over Garou.
Trivia[]
- In episode 3, of season 3 of the anime, Royal Riper was animated as a woman as he was shown to have breasts, most likely due to being believed by the animators that he is a female for his cloth. This exposed a potential lack of knowledge for the series from the show's own animation team.
