Rudy Armendariz is one of the three main antagonists of the Law & Order episode "Wedding Bliss". He is a slaver who employees young Mexicans in sweatshop and runs it with an iron fist under the orders of Betty and Ellis Drake.

Rudy was raised by both Ellis and Betty Drake like a son. Eventually, they employed him to be an enforcer for their sweat shop. they would shackle the Mexican slaves, most of them children, and force them to do work without money.
To get away with their crimes, Betty and Ellis order Rudy to strangle city inspector Ira Bender to death before weighing him down in the water. They also have two cousins, Eduardo Carranza and María Carranza, killed in the same manner. Later, they murdered 7 of their slaves and buried them in a house Ellis bought.
Wedding Bliss[]
Rudy is asked about his know-how on the kids who worked, when the cousins are found in a body a water, but he denies any involvement. Eventually, the location of the abandoned sweatshop is found with a dress, blood, blankets, and shackles. They are all arrested, Rudy not being out on bail, but the other 2 having a bail of 250 thousand cash.
It’s been found out that Rudy and Drake were like mother and son but had a sexual relationship. Rudy’s wife says that they killed the seven slaves, but she later recants. When Ellis finds out that Rudy was sexually involved with Betty, he testifies. Then, the wife’s aunt tells the police about a home that Ellis bought, where 7 more victims are found. After this is found out, the 3 make a plea to reduce their sentence.
