Appearance[]

Rufino Malacara is a tall man with black hair, pointed ears, a dark mustache, and a a gold tooth. He wears a blue jacket and a red shirt underneath, while also wearing black pants and gray shoes.

Biography[]

Not much is known, but Rufino Malacara stopped seeing him for many years is that his parents bought a huge ranch, but he met Señor Barriga at university, and according to him, they were friends. He works as a valet where he sometimes shows off some of the cars he has to Señor Barriga. It is presumed that he committed minor crimes and that is why he was in jail although he fled later.

When Rufino saw that Mr. Barriga did not receive money for everyone's rent, he observed that the neighborhood would be very profitable and decides to take it over. So he sent some workers to destroy the neighborhood, although El Chavo and Quico look at him and Rufino makes them believe that they would build a farm. El Chavo believes that if they had animals there, until Rufino boasts that each farm has a treasure and El Chavo says that really yes (referring to Quico), Rufino then decides to put the children to look for the happy buried treasure in the neighborhood.

While that happens, Mr. Barriga arrives in the neighborhood and Rufino comes in a convertible car arguing that he should sell the neighborhood and leave it in other hands, something that he thinks about it a bit. When Barriga arrives, he gets angry about the holes they have made and angrily acclaims all the tenants that he decides to sell the neighborhood to Rufino.

With the news, Rufino takes over the deeds of the Neighborhood, while Mr. Barriga receives the check to go on vacation; And while the children continue digging, the adults are surprised by the new rules of Malacara being to triple the rents, go for the money money and the one who has no money would leave the neighborhood. The adults oppose that and he kicks them out of the neighborhood. El Chavo decides to leave since they have not found a strange thing, Rufino orders him to continue digging until they find something. Rufino then happily kept digging until he accidentally breaks the drain tube, and everyone smiles at that.

Rufino observes that the treasure they were talking about was Quico, and accidentally confesses that he was in jail, until Señor Barriga arrives to tell everyone that Rufino Malacara was a fake by showing them a rubber check. The workers at the same time arrive to demolish the neighborhood, and the man from the valett parking also appears to return the keys to the cars he was driving. Then everyone chases after them, and the guy slaps him in the face, the worker returns the title of the neighborhood to Barriga and the parking man takes the keys to the cars he stole. At the end he appears covering the holes they made as punishment, while Mr. Barriga comments that thanks to his lies he showed that the neighborhood belongs to everyone, and also with fourty-four years.
