Rufus is a minor antagonist in the video game The Walking Dead: A New Frontier by Telltale Games. He is a minion and member of The New Frontier.
He was voiced by Sean Lynch.
Biography[]
Rufus first appears when Javier García wakes up in his truck. Javi can ask him several questions, but Rufus remains silent and advises him to shut up if he wants to live. It was then that during the journey, a tree trunk overturned on the road, causing the crash of the truck. Rufus then gets out of the truck while Javier grabs his gun and points it at Rufus who was trying to get away. He can either shoot him in the back, killing him or letting him go.
If Javi spared Rufus, the man will be seen in Richmond and he will quarantine Javi and his brother David. Rufus then taunts Javi saying that the only help he gives them is to let them live before he leaves. In the following episode, Rufus is bitten off-screen during Walkers' invasion of Richmond. He is then cared for by Eleanor, but the infection in his body is already too bad. He can then have his arm cut by Javi to stop the infection, but if he refuses David will kill him himself shooting Rufus in the head.
