Ryo Shimazaki is a major antagonist in the action manga and anime series Mob Psycho 100. He is an esper and a member of the Ultimate 5 of Claw, a criminal organization led by Toichiro Suzuki.
He is voiced by Noriaki Sugiyama in Japanese and by Grant George in English.
Appearance[]
Ryo is a slim man with short black hair whose eyes are typically closed, leaving four locks at the front. His typical attire during his appearance was a dark grey jacket over a maroon red short along with pants and a pair of black shoes. When he is excited, Ryo's eyes are open, revealing frightening black iris and red pupils.
Personality[]
Shimazaki exudes a relaxed demeanor with an air of superiority and a pessimistic view of existence. His expression typically carries a smug and disdainful smile. Confident in his skills, he perceives himself as Claw's second most powerful esper, though he was shaken by his unexpected loss against by other espers and visibly unnerved by Mob's intense emotions towards his motives for joining Claw. His association with Suzuki was mainly driven by his search for entertainment. This defeat appears to have deeply affected his psyche, although the full extent remains ambiguous.
