Ryoshi, also known as the Hideous Man, and formerly known as Tenaga is a minor antagonist in the 2021 Roblox story horror game The Mimic; serving as a supporting antagonist in Jealousy's Book: Chapter II.
It is a massive, hideous Yōkai that resides in a massive tower inside Enzukai's pocket dimension. Once Isamu enters, it jumps up to the top and attempts to find him; killing Isamu should he succeed in doing so.
Appearance[]
Ryoshi wears no clothing at any of his body, but he also has elongated arms and short legs to cling and climb to the top of The Tower; additionally his hands only have four fingers instead of five. His bald face has no eyes, instead revealing empty sockets where eyes should be, and has sharp teeth similar to Nagisa's. His skin is a flesh red color, with spotty holes and scars all around its body.
Personality[]
Much of Ryoshi's full behavior and personality is unknown, though from what can be seen in-game, he is a ruthless monster that constantly tries to hunt and locate Isamu, and once he finds him he will almost immediately kill him.

Background[]
Ryoshi's past is currently unknown, though it's implied he was cursed by Enzukai and began residing inside his pocket dimension, occupying a large tower as it's place of residence. It's also implied he associated himself with the Kiiroibara Cult, which was a religious cult that worshipped Enzukai. However, Ryoshi himself is not an official member of the cult.

After Isamu gets past the Red Light Green Light section with Teiryu, Ryoshi appears as the monster in The Tower who hunts Isamu down while he tries to escape from him. After solving several puzzles, and avoiding Ryoshi's line of sight, Isamu manages to open a door to escape the Tower and Ryoshi himself.
Jealousy's Book: Chapter IV[]
Although Ryoshi doesn't appear in this chapter, a lore writer would confirm that after Isamu kills Enzukai, his pocket dimension would begin to collapse inward, and if anyone who was cursed by Enzukai remains inside when this happens, they will be crushed and killed permanently. This confirms Ryoshi is dead after the events of Jealousy's Book.

- Ryoshi means "hunter" in Japanese.
- Originally, Ryoshi was supposed to be part of a scrapped monster known as the Ashinagatenaga, who would roam the Meat Restaurant. Though, he would be scrapped and replaced with Kuishinbo; presumably because of the Spirited Away reference. However, the Tenaga portion of the whole model would be re-purposed to create Ryoshi.
