Ryunosuke Kaze is the bodyguard of the Black Heart Gang, a criminal gang sponsored by Dakker, and the secondary antagonist of the second episode of Kaiketsu Zubat.
History[]
After Ken Hayakawa beat up a bunch of Black Heart Gang grunts that were hassling two sisters who worked in a saloon, Ryunosuke Kaze appeared to face him. When Ken insisted Kaze was only the second best at swordfighting in Japan, Kaze challenged him to a contest to prove whose sword-wielding skills were better and demonstrated his skill by cutting out part of the old man's shirt in the shape of a heart with his sword. However, Ken then threw the piece of fabric cut out up in the air and cut out an even smaller heart shaped hole in it. Bested, Kaze left the saloon.
Kaze later faced Ken again, after Ken pretended to join the Black Heart Gang. He cut open Ken's pocket with his sword and discovered that Ken was carrying the bullets that had shot Goro Asuka. Realizing Ken was searching for his friend's killer, Kaze mocked him before taking his leave
After Ken appeared as the mysterious hero Kaiketsu Zubat to save the girls when they were captured by the Black Heart gang, Black Star summoned Kaze to deal with Zubat. Zubat dodged each of Kaze's slices with his katana before killing Kaze by slicing his neck open with his whip.
