Ryyz is a major antagonist in the sci-fi action role-playing game, Xenoblade Chronicles X. She is a member of the Ganglion, serving as one of their main commanders. She is accompanied by Dagahn, who serves as her own guardian and protector.
She is voiced by Yuka Komatsu in the Japanese version of the game and by Eden Riegel in its English dub.
Personality[]
Ryyz is a sadistic individual that looks down on humanity. She prefers to watch them be destroyed by their forces, rather than be involved in the conflict herself, relying on Dagahn to do the fighting for her. Nonetheless, she is more than willing to step in, only to be given the opportunity to make them suffer. Between her and Dagahn, she considers herself to be the smarter of the two, believing that Dagahn is more suited for fighting than to think for others.
However, she has shown to possess a fragile ego, as it is most prominently shown when she loses to Elma the first time, taking great insult from being spared by her. From that point on, Ryyz finds herself becoming more dangerous and unstable, as she would later take the Zu Pharg to destroy NLA for good, simply out of spite from her initial defeat.
