Süleyman Çakır, often just Çakır is one of the deuteragonist of Valley of the Wolves. He is a Turkish criminal gang leader and casino operator who becomes blood brothers with Polat Alemdar. He is portrayed by Oktay Kaynarca.
Overview[]
Born in 1964 in Ardeşen, Rize, Çakır and his sister Derya began selling pilaf on the streets after their father was tragically killed while performing ablution in a mosque. One day, a police officer assaulted Derya, making Çakır to fatally stabbing the officer in the back. In prison, Çakır was tasked with assassinating Duran Emmi. While Çakır was about to kill Emmi, he witness Emmi in the middle of ablution and his memories gets triggered of his father’s death, leading Çakır to abandon the mission. Instead, he prefered to be close with Emmi, marking the beginning of his descent into the criminal underworld.
