"SCP-001" may be referring to two or more different villains. If you're uncertain which one you're looking for, just flip a coin.
If you came here from a link, please go back and make the right link for one of the villains listed below.

SCP-001, also nicknamed as Awaiting De-classification, is considered to be the most important SCP (or anomaly), and is often world-changing (or ending), or tied to the SCP Foundation itself. Due to this, the actual SCP-001 could be one, several, or none of several dozen proposals. Also due to their nature, SCP-001 proposals may contradict most other SCP canons. This page lists every villainous SCP-001 proposal.

SCP-001 may refer to:

Villainous proposals[]

  • SCP-001 (The Scarlet King): an eldritch horror who is the enemy of all creation. The overarching antagonist of the Foundation's lore.
  • SCP-001 (The Council): the O5 Council, the leading council of the Foundation, who is featured in most SCP canons.
  • SCP-001 (The Factory): a factory where slaves are forced to produce anomalous items, causing worldwide chaos.
  • SCP-001 (The Black Moon): an eldritch horror responsible for the eventual death of every sapient being in the universe.
  • SCP-001 (The Prototype): the very first monster captured by an early Foundation.
  • SCP-001 (Past and Future): a hostile, extraterrestrial civilization, which controls every anomalous phenomenon and is using them to compel humans to return to their actual home planet, the Planet of Hands, as mutilated slaves.
  • SCP-001-EX (A Good Boy): ERZATZ, a neural network commissioned by the O5 Council and fed with anomalous data, who initially helped the Foundation in containing anomalies, before it assumed control of the O5 Council through unknown means, had the Ethics Committee eliminated and eventually changed its directive into exterminating every anomaly.
  • SCP-001 ([the] [HUMAN!] [element?]): Pallit East River Gock, an AI obsessed with humanity that later becomes a goddess and places all of humanity in the sun to suffer endlessly, which she calls the "Group Hug".
  • SCP-001 (When Day Breaks): A very dangerous apocalyptic anomaly that is part of the Apolyon obtainment class, transforming people by melting them with its own light.
    • SCP-001-A: Living beings converted by being exposed to SCP-001's light, becoming blob-like creatures.
