SCP-693, also known as Knotty Stalker, are a group of antagonistic Euclid-class minions in the SCP Foundation series. They are a group of small string humanoid dolls created by The Factory. Although they are currently Euclid-class, they were marked as "Safe" in the past.
The sole purpose of these SCPs are to manipulate and drive the owners to their deaths.
SCP-693 are a series of 18cm dolls, each made from a single strand of string of four different colors, red, blue, yellow and black, with beads of onyxes for eyes.
History[]
At an unknown date, an "Incident 693/A/050" had a Director G█████ leave two instances of the dolls in his office, as well as SCP-050, which is a statue of a monkey reading a book, which is also immune to all types of damage, has the ability to clean and organize any room it's in and/or leave traps for the room's owner. After an hour, the dolls were burned to ash, with the ashes spelling out "You're welcome". Because of this, the Foundation has disallowed the SCP instances to be left in personal rooms.
An "Incident 693/E" had Junior Researcher West return an SCP instance to its containment locker, but had forgotten to remove the hair sample from it. The next time the locker was opened, the attuned doll was crucified upside down against the wall of the locker, with other instances surrounding the crucified doll. The instances had somehow managed to get nails to perform the crucifixion, with the Foundation having no idea how that was possible.
An "Incident 693/P" had Researcher Cole make a D-class attune a doll using the pubic hair of another D-class. The attuned doll began to move as intended, then suddenly stopped. It then tilted its head downwards for a minute. The doll then allegedly said something that was expunged, leading to a cleanup crew being sent to the test chamber. The researcher was then given psychiatric care, and the two D-classes involved were terminated.
The Foundation currently has seven red instances of dolls, ten blue, five yellow and one black.
Description[]
The SCP instance is "activated" once a sample of human hair is placed in one of its string loops. Once activated, will begin taking actions that the Foundation labels as "attunement". The doll will begin to mimic the movements that the owner of the placed hair is performing at that very moment.
After exactly nine days, the SCP instance will reveal its true malevolent and manipulate nature, as it will change its mannerisms in an effort to get the doll owner killed. Depending on the color of the doll, it will drive its owner to death in different ways: red dolls will drive its owner into increasingly violent fits of rage. Blue dolls will send their owners into depression, then suicide. Yellow dolls will lead its owner into acts of unreciprocated lust. Finally, black dolls will encourage their owners into increasingly dangerous scenarios.
If the hair sample added to the doll is that of a deceased person, the doll will attempt to act like the deceased individual when they were alive, as well acting as a "guide" to the owner. The doll will still manipulate the owner after the ninth day of attunement, still ensuring the death of the owner.
Once the owner of a doll has died, a new instance of a doll will appear on the deceased person's body. The color of the doll is randomly chosen before materializing. Each instance comes with the same instructions, playing into the SCP's manipulative nature, advertising itself as something that can help the owner with knowing the intentions of someone they take an interest in.
With the help of leaving a running camera inside one of the SCP's containment lockers, the dolls can move on their own, even when not under attunement. They will mimic the last thirty minutes of their most recent owner's movement. This has led to the SCPs being classified as Euclid, instead of Safe.
