SNOW is a supporting antagonist in the 2019 indie action-platformer video game Katana Zero, specifically serving as the secondary antagonist of the sixth mission "Studio 51". A skilled assassin, she works alongside V for an unknown organization to smuggle Chronos as much as possible, in addition to other unknown objectives.

Personality

SNOW is really composed and focused. Although SNOW gives the impression that she is a skilled assassin, she eventually loses faith in V's malicious intentions and even spares Zero before he can kill V. SNOW compliments V for killing Zero (who, she didn't know, was still alive), thinking that he will be paid for his work. She also noted Zero's lack of regret or enthusiasm for his work, his opponents, and himself, saying that he was prepared to fight her and V in the future (if he adopted a combat posture in their first encounter, she mentions this and labels his form careless).

Biography

Past

SNOW's background is mostly unknown, but there is a possibility that she is also a NULL soldier, due to her ability to seemingly teleport that is similar to Fifteen's dash ability. At some point, she starts working for a secret organization, and met V.

Searching for Chronos

Following Zero's battle with V in Studio 51, SNOW initially emerges, lunging in from behind Zero and throwing a swing at him that he barely manages to avoid. After giving him a quick inspection, she chooses not to kill Zero but gives him a warning to forget all that occurred or perish.

During the Mansion mission, she reappears in a cinematic that follows Zero's fight with Mr. Kissyface.  She congratulates V there for killing "the swordsman" and then disappearing.

Holding V's necklace, SNOW is shown in the game's final sequence for the last time, informing their employer of V's passing and getting answer about waging an open war with the government.

Abilities

It seems as though SNOW can teleport, as seen by the pink petals she leaves behind when she disappears. These petals are sharp, says V. Although it is never made explicit whether or not SNOW is a member of NULL, it is highly likely given her apparent teleportation skill, which is akin to Fifteen's dash ability.
