Sabor is the secondary antagonist of the 1998 animated film Tarzan of the Apes by Golden Films. He is a predatory lion who hunts for the thrill of the hunt.

His vocal sound effects were provided by Frank Welker.

History

In the opening song "Child of My Dreams", Sabor is seen as he roars at the top of mountain, and follows the bird. Sabor made a brief appearance in the film where he tips Tarzan to the water. He nearly kills Tarzan, but Tarzan throws water at him to stay away.

His next appearance is where he chases Jane to eat, but the Tarzan ignites the miniature fire and it frightens him off.

Sabor is seen for the last time during Jane and Tarzan's wedding.
