Sabretooth (X-Men: Evolution)

Sabretooth is a major antagonist in X-Men: Evolution. He is Wolverine’s archenemy as well as a loyal servant and follower to Magneto.

He was voiced by Michael Donovan.

History[]

Sabretooth first appears in a brief cameo in the first episode of the first season watching Wolverine with binoculars while the latter is at a convenient store. Sabretooth makes his first full appearance in the second episode where when Wolverine begins to smell Sabretooth's presence the second episode is also the first time Wolverine puts on a darker version of his yellow blue jumpsuit from the mainstream comics (as opposed to the militaristic uniform from the Ultimate comics in later seasons).

It’s also the first time Cyclops and Nightcrawler encounter Sabretooth after seeing Wolverine speed off on his motorcycle they decide to find out what is going down as they are driving near the parking garage Sabretooth and Wolverine finally come face to face with Sabretooth saying Wolverine’s going down mockingly using his catchphrase bub while Wolverine replies bring it on pops bring it on.

During the middle of the fight Sabretooth quotes philosophy saying one shall fall by the others hand are destiny we can’t change it Wolverine responds he didn’t know he went for that philosophy mumbo jumbo Cyclops (whose car just got smashed by Sabretooth's motorcycle) and Nightcrawler arrive with Cyclops calling Sabertooth furball and that he’s got his destiny right here after a brief fight Cyclops and Nightcrawler are able to push Sabretooth down an elevator.

Sabretooth tells Wolverine that this is merely a taste of things yet to come when Nightcrawler boasts that they showed Sabertooth they’re the X-Men Wolverine annoyed that they interfered with his fight against his long time enemy tells both Cyclops and Nightcrawler that he doesn’t fight their battles and tells them not to fight his. As Wolverine walks away Cyclops and Nightcrawler joke that Wolverine just loves them.
