Sabrina Ritchie is the secondary antagonist in the 1992 action thriller film Passenger 57. She is Charles Rane's accomplice and second-in-command of the international terrorist group.
She was portrayed by Elizabeth Hurley, who also portrayed Vanessa Kensington in the Austin Powers franchise, The Devil in Bedazzled, Brace Channing in My Favorite Martian, and Morgan le Fay in Marvel's Runaways.
Biography[]
Sabrina is first seen in the flight attendant room at the back of the plane, where she meets fellow flight attendant, Marti Slayton. The two seem to hit it off and Ritchie seems like a fun, outgoing person while their working on duty. Later that time, Sabrina sees a child and plays a game with him before bringing him an orange soda, saying that if any bad guys were on board, she would just bring out her own gun and fight them, providing some foreshadowing the event. Later, Sabrina brings a tray of food to Rane with 2 FBI agents to transport to prison and asks him how he would like his sirloin. He replies "bloody" and she suddenly grabs a suppressed SIG-Sauer P226 pistol from underneath the lid and kills the two agents with it, revealing herself as a terrorist.
Later in the film, she seems to have a romantic interest in Rane and gets jealous when he tries to seduce Slayton. While the plane is turn back and returning to the airport, Sabrina returns to the cockpit and gun points the pilots, asking them about turning this plane around. One of the pilot replies that someone requested it, when she ask that who told them to turn the plane until John Cutter appears and replied to her question. Before Sabrina is about to shoot him, John Cutter brutally punches her in the face and knocked out unconscious. Eventually, Sabrina is the only member of Rane's team to survive as she is arrested by the authorities and taken to prison for her crimes.
