Sakko is a major antagonist in Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! He is a minion of the Skeleton King that infiltrated himself into the Hyperforce by acting as Jinmay's pet in an attempt to sabotage their operations. When caught, he took over Jinmay's robotic form in an attempt to destroy the heroes. He also plays a role in the Season 1 Finale where the Skeleton King attempts to brainwash the Hyperforce over to his side after seemingly killing Chiro.
Appearence[]
Despite being a male character, he has a feminine appearance, he is a cute little monkey with a tail, black dot eyes with long eyelashes and pink fur who wears a light teal bow, a matching top with an orange collar, skirt also light teal with a heart, white socks with shoes the same color as the bow and a ribbon in his tail also light teal.
Biography[]
Sakko was sent out to pretend to be Jinmay's pet. During his time as her pet, he would find himself in the crossfire of a couple of bullies who targeted Jinmay and took him hostage to tease her. This would be stopped when Chiro gave the bullies and intimidating stare. Sakko soon decided to act friendly and inquisitive around Chiro like a non-sapient monkey to help earn his trust. He relied on Chiro to trust Jinmay and become infatuated with her so he can show her the inner workings of the Super Robot. With them inside, Sakko infiltrated ths Super Robot and began to slowly sabotage it. However, he was caught with Chiro thinking he was affiliated with Jinmay.
With Jinmay not knowing what was going on and with Sakko pleading his silence, Jinmay was left alone and heartbroken not knowing what to do. Sakko soon briefed with the Skeleton King after realizing their jig was up, however Jinmay walked in realizing that Sakko was sapient and was scheming something. That's when Sakko decided to reveal the Skeleton King to her, revealing her robotic nature and her past of being found by the Skeleton King in the process. Sakko reprogrammed her systems to become a killer robot he could pilot and fight against the Super Robot. Sakko sent Jinmay to fight with the Super Robot, with her nearly destroying them in the process. However, Chiro realizing that she was being used decided to spare her and give her another chance to be allies with them. Sakko knowing it would be useless to continue fighting, decided to retreat using his cockpit, but Nova stopped him in his tracks by firing the Super Robot's missiles at him, leaving him defenseless. Sakko was sent back to the Skeleton King's lair where he met with a disappointed Skeleton King. In spite of Sakko's pleas, he was sent away to be tortured, presumably having his robotic eye mutilated from him in the process.
Sakko joined Mandarin in helping capture the Hyperforce by sending out leeches to weaken their mind. Chiro protested by saying that he would never join them. Sakko then claimed that he was never invited, setting off a bomb trap on the Super Robot, causing it to fall, crushing Chiro in the process. Thinking he was dead, Sakko claimed victory saying it was "all over" as the Skeleton King went out to collect the Hyperforce. Sakko watched as Mandarin tortured his former comrades, hoping they would be brainwashed towards the Skeleton King's will. However, Chiro revealed himself to be alive as he brought Jinmay. Sakko berated Mandarin for not scattering her parts in space as they realized they were cornered. Not wanting to suffer the heroe's wrath, they both surrendered and retreated the Skeleton King's ship.
Eventually, Sakko was shown to be apprehended and incarcerated for his crimes in the off-world prison. During his time there, he's shown to enjoy his fate, participating in the rehabilitation activities there along with his fellow inmates.
Personality[]
Sakko is a cunning monkey who can operate machinery very well. He knows how to act innocent and secretly spy on the Hyperforce’s activity without them rousing suspicion. When the chips are down, he goes all in until he finds himself losing, choosing to surrender in cowardice rather than fight till the end. He’s fearful of the Skeleton King and his opposition and distances from them when they get wrathful at him. Upon his incarceration, he’s shown to like his new life in prison, and cooperates with his rehabilitation process.
