Sal Desir worked for Mack Drummond. He would help Drummond with getting the children from Haiti to have them auctioned off for labor and slavery. He is a major antagonist of the season 2 episode "Shaky Town" in S.W.A.T..

Biography

In the past, Desir had sons and a wife, but lost them to the Haitian earthquake. Since then, Desir had other sons and wanted to make sure they were taken care of. He decided to help Mack Drummond with his business. He would assist Drummond with getting children who were destitute and did not have families and would have them sold off to work to get profit out of it.

Before the earthquake, Desir was aware that S.W.A.T. was in the building with Drummond and the children and tried to get away from them. He got into contact with Deacon who was able to detain him. However, during the earthquake, parts of the building begin to collapse causing rubble to pin them both down. Desir is able to get out the rubble and is about to escape on his own until Deacon holds him at gunpoint and tries to stop him from escaping. Desir tells Deacon about his past and the reason he joined Drummond in the first place. He tells him that he did everything he can do for his own children. Deacon tells him to that he has his own children, and he is able to convince Desir to get him out of the rubble. As they were climbing out of the building to escape from it, Desir tries to run away, but Deacon throws a flashbang at him causing him to fall over. Deacon arrests Desir and brings him to the LAPD precinct to be interrogated. During his interrogation, he reveals additional details about Drummond's criminal business and asks Deacon how long it would be until he can see his children again. Deacon says it will be a while until his children are older and that they would survive to see him. Desir accepts Deacon's answer.
