Saladin is the secondary antagonist of the 2004 family film Two Brothers. He is a fearsome fire-eating sword swallower who is Zerbino's right-hand man.
He was portrayed by Moussa Maaskri.
When a young tiger named Kumal was delivered to the circus, he tries to take it from Zerbino, but he bites his hand, forcing him to violently throw him in the cage. Later he and Zerbino meets an unscrupulous explorer, big-game hunter and temple looter named Aidan McRory. He wanted a tiger skin so he pay them 1000 Piasters and they killed off there old tiger, Bloody Caesar.
Saladin help Zerbino train Kumal. While Zerbino tries to have him jump through a flaming hoop. The tiger backs down, so Saladin and the other trainers antagonize the tiger to do it. It finally suceeded and after it walks back to it's cage, Saladin says "Thats how you break a Tiger". Later he and Zerbino learned about another vicious tiger named Sangha will come to be the opponent to Kumal. In exchange to pay them 5000 Piasters, they agree and the prince decides to hold a festival in which a battle between two great beasts. The two brothers, Sangha and Kumal do not immediately recognize each other, and Kumal is afraid to fight.
However, when the brothers finally recognize each other they begin to play together instead of fighting, and the audience likes this but the trainers do not. Saladin and the trainers tried to get them to fight again, Saladin hits Kumal, but the mighty Shanga bites Saladin's arm who’s finally had enough of his cruelty and as he squeals in agony. Zerbino tries to shoot him from biting his arm, but Kumal jumped on him, killing him. Shanga lets go, as Saladin becomes severely injured. It is unknown if he died or if he was treated for his injuries.
