Salvatore is a supporting antagonist in season two of The White Lotus.
He was a beach employee at the Sicilian branch of The White Lotus who replaces Rocco on the front-desk. He later inappropriately engages with Isabella, another front-of-desk employee.
He was portrayed by Lucio Patané.
Personality[]
Salvatore demonstrates misogynistic qualities, such as flirting with his younger, engaged colleague, Isabella. Initially, he appears dim-witted and comedic, but it is revealed that he makes perverse, inappropriate comments to his colleagues.
Physical appearance[]
Salvatore is an older man who is balding and has a moustache. He is traditionally seen in The White Lotus' beach uniform of sky-blue polo shirts. When working on front-desk, he wears a suit. He has a broad smile.

Salvatore was born in Italy, and eventually became employed at the Sicilian branch of The White Lotus hotel working on the beach.
The White Lotus[]
The manager of the White Lotus in Sicily, Valentina, develops an attraction to Isabella, a desk receptionist. As this attraction develops, Valentina notices Rocco, a young, conventionally attractive man, is flirting with her. Jealous, Valentina demotes Rocco, and promotes Salvatore to the front desk. Salvatore previously had worked in a more solitary role on the beach.
On desk, Salvatore appears to be distracting Isabella much like Rocco. Valentina is initially frustrated, but rests assured that Rocco still does not serve the front desk. This, allows Valentina the security that she can continue to try court Isabella. When Isabella reveals that she had been engaged to Rocco (to Valentina's dismay), she requests he return to his position as Salvatore had behaved predatorially to Isabella.
Valentina, who is now infatuated with Mia, the new pianist and former prostitute, honours Isabella's request. Valentina tells Salvatore to return to his beach role to his behest. Unable to see Valentina's point, Salvatore criticises Valentina's decision-making from having only recently promoted him. Valentina quickly rebuts Salvatore's protestation and tells him he has behaved inappropriately. When Salvatore sarcastically asks which department he will next be working in due to his rapid promotion and demotion, an unbothered Valentina informs him that he has been further demoted to cleaning the toilets for making Isabella uncomfortable and insubordination.
