Sam Losco is a major antagonist in the TV series Trailer Park Boys.
He is a former veterinarian and to be a nuisance, particularly to Jim Lahey, Julian, Ricky, and Bubbles. He is also often called "Caveman" by a large number of people.
He is portrayed by Sam Tarasco.
Personality[]
Sam was initially a genuine veterinarian in the first season, but became hostile towards the boys after he loses everything in the second season. His favorite food seems to be greasy hotdogs, which others have insultingly called him "caveman", which caused him to become hostile towards others. Despite his hatred towards the boys, he will help the duo under their coercion.

Not much is known about Sam's past. He studied as a veterinarian for eight years.
Trailer Park Boys[]
In the first season, Julian and Ricky go to Sam after Mrs. Peterson's dog ate the weed brownies and removed bullets from Ricky's wound.
However, in the second season, after Ricky and Julian got arrested at the wedding, the doctor started examining Ricky and asked who sewed him up, Sam loses his practice, since veterinaries are not allowed to work on humans. He loses everything and moved in Sunnyvale in a camper and runs for trailer park supervisor against Jim Lahey to get revenge on the boys for ruining his life. At the election, the conspired against Sam by spike his food with magic mushrooms before giving his campaign speech.
He later tries to married Barb Lahey, the owner of the trailer park to gain ownership of the trailer park, but his plan is foiled by Julian when he starred in one of J-Roc's porn films which Julian passed on to Barb. In the season finale, Sam attempts to kill Julian and J-Roc for tricking him, but he alongside Cyrus was arrested by the police.
In the fourth season, he is on probation and was able to restart his veterinary practice and would often do checkups on Bubbles' kitties, despite his antagonist status.
In the sixth season, he loses his veterinary practice again and works at East Coast Paving. But after prank call by Ricky, he gets into a fight with Randy and returns in the finale to kidnap Randy for ransom, believing he caused Sam to lose his job.
In the seventh season, he returns to the park as Barb's secret admirer and sending her gifts. After he reveals himself as her secret admirer, Barb leaves Jim and elopes with Sam. In the season finale, "Say Goodnight to the Bad Guys", Sam and Barb rob Julian's DeLorean, which contained all of the boys' retired money they earned in the train smuggling operation. Sam and Barb were caught and arrested by the police.
In the eighth season, after Sam and Barb broke up when she accuses him of cheating on her with another man, he works for Cyrus as his right-hand man and tries to buy the Sunnyvale, but were unable to.
In the ninth season, he becomes homeless and lives in a cave after something went down between him and Cyrus. This completed the metamorphosis of Sam officially becoming a caveman. During the season, he is mistaken as a "Samsquanch", which Bubbles and Ricky ended up tracking down. At the end of the season, he falls into a trap and is shot with a tranquilizer by forest rangers and taken away in a pickup truck.
In the tenth season, he becomes wealthy and owns a dentist building called "The Denture King" after making a promise to his mother, who passed away, to wave off his criminal activities and be nicer to others. However, once the boys robbed Sam, he went revert back to his old self.
In the eleventh season, he turned his dentist business into botox work and called it the "The Botox King". He worked on his face, but made it worse. The boys go to Sam for medical attention after Ricky gets shot in the groin by his grandson Mo. However, Sam threatens to cut Ricky's groin for Julian's Jeep. Once Ricky's injury isn't healing properly due to masturbation, the boys head back to Sam and make a deal with him to find out whether or not Lahey is Ricky's father for burning down his building due to Sam now knowing anything about Botox and people coming after him. After Julian burns down Sam's building, he gets the blood type results back and revealed Lahey and Ray are not Ricky's real fathers.
