Sam Pollard is a minor antagonist in the Criminal Minds: Evolution episode "Moose". Pollard is an attempted poisoner and a follower of serial killer and criminal network founder Elias Voit.
Biography[]
Little is known about Pollard. He was singled out by Voit as a wannabe poisoner, hoping to use the poison on his family. Voit directed Pollard to the coordinates of a "kill kit" Voit buried for such murder. The FBI caught onto Voit's operations and swiftly recovered most of the cases, but Pollard was already in possession of his. The agents prevented him from acting on his crime by catching him at the site when he dug up the kit. They wanted him alive, but Pollard was boxed in by the agents' and local police's cars. The agents panicked and knew, as Voit made his accomplices agree to kill themselves if they were to get caught by police, they had a narrow window to reach Pollard. They were too late, as Pollard shot himself in his head in front of the responders.
