Three, better known as Samshik, is a major antagonist in Shotgun Boy. He is part of a group of shape-shifting monsters who are dead-set on killing humanity due to experimentation from the MM Corporation. However, he is more interested in his own goals.
Appearance[]
Samshik's true appearance is unknown, although it is stated to be male. Like the other Variants, it is also implied to be small enough to fit in a container.
Before killing Hayeong, Samshik takes the disguise of a pretty woman with a brown ponytail. In this disguise, he wears the black camp employee uniform and a hat.
Later, he takes the appearance of Hayeong, that being a light-skinned, short girl with a bob hair-cut.
Biography[]
Past[]
At some point, Samshik was captured by and experimented on by the MM Corporation. During experimentation, he would laugh, which would creep out the other Variants. Eventually, him and his fellow Variants took over Area C and took down a truck containing a powerful monster named Zero by accident. They used the area as a cover for a retreat ground for high school students and disguised themselves as the employees.
Shotgun Boy[]
Samshik made her move by killing Five's prey, Hayeong Lee, because he found her cute. This angered Five, but nonetheless she continued with her plans. Samshik took the disguise of Hayeong while Five and the other Variants proceeded to attack the students and teachers of Yeongchan High. Samshik waited outside and eventually ran into Seongbin Yu (who doesn't know Hayeong isn't Samshik.) The two try to escape, but run into Seongbin's friends while doing so. While talking, they notice a nearby girl, so Samshik watches as Seongbin supposedly beats her to death in a fit of rage. Unknowingly, the "girl" placed an infection tumor on Seongbin, causing him to lose consciousness. While he's unconscious, Samshik investigates him and notices the tumor, so his friends realize he is not a monster. Samshik introduces himself and asks them to keep his identity secret from Seongbin. He then says one of the friends must kill each other, but then dismisses and says it was a joke. Once Seongbin wakes up, he continues to pretend to be Hayeong.
Personality[]
Samshik is clearly to be the most mischievous and jovial of the variants. He does not seem too interested in killing humans like his partners, only killing anyone for his own fun, like finding someone cute. He also enjoys scaring people, as shown when he pretends he's forcing two students to kill each other. Due to his carelessness and creepiness, the other variants seem to consider him the lowest part of their totem pole.
Samshik is fascinated by Seongbin's infection and want's to see the results at all costs. He offers him protection and sticks by him, while disguised as a girl. It is set on keeping it's identity secret from him, but doesn't care about his friends, who Samshik sees as useless.
He is also shown to be a master at disguising herself, as nobody suspects he is not Hayeong for his "acting".

Like other Variants, Samshik can steal the memories and appearance of a person after ingesting their brains.
