Samuel Smith is the main antagonist of the FBI: Most Wanted episode “Vanished”. He is a pedophile who kidnaps a boy after murdering his mother and grandmother.

History

Biography

Samuel was a pervert even at a young age, and to fulfill his urges, he raped an 8-year-old boy named Drew Slater before drowning him. Samuel's parents were also very religious and sometimes locked him in the closet. Samuel set his eyes on the 11-year-old David Caine as a tutor, but he was forced to leave after the parents found molesting Daniel. To stop himself from being suspected, he kidnapped Daniel after the incident and brought him to his cabin. While Daniel was there, Samuel would rape and beat him for minor infractions. Samuel’s most disgusting act is when he left the door to his cabin open, and when Daniel got the courage to go outside after 8 grueling hours, Samuel punished him.

Samuel got bored with Daniel after 9 years of abuse and set his eyes on 8-year-old Caleb Vaughter. Over several months, Samuel manipulated his mother into a relationship, but only so he could murder her and her mother so nobody would stop him from taking Daniel. After murdering the parents, he tells Caleb that his family hated him and left him up for adoption. He then drugs Daniel’s orange juice, holds him in his arms, and supposedly rapes him before putting him into his bunker hooked to gas tanks. When Drew Abner, the man who helped him make a bunker, tells the police about Samuel, he is convinced to have a meeting for child pornography videos. At the parking garage, he runs away towards the highest level and, when cornered by the police, jumps off the garage after proclaiming that the kid will suffocate to death. Thankfully, David is found by Jess LaCroix and has David help find the bunker, which saves Caleb from suffocation.
