NOTE: Since the game this villain belongs to, Adventure Story, was abandoned by its developers and not continued, Sandlord is considered the game's main antagonist. He also has not made an official appearance, so most of the information you see in this article are either implied or presumed.

Apparently this Sandlord guy is a crazy evil wizard, maybe he's the one who casted that spell on the other druids. Anyway, that's my best guess. We should go to Ratzo Rocks and have a look around.
~ Abby talking about the Sandlord.

Sandlord is the presumed main antagonist of the Roblox game Adventure Story.

He hasn't officially appeared since the game was abandoned by the developers, so not much is known about him. What is known is that he currently resides in Ratzo Rocks and is thought to be the one behind the mind control casted on the Druids.

Appearance[]

Besides not making any official appearances, there is almost nothing about his appearance in the game. All we know is that he has some sort of "Dark Figure" according to Abby (This depends if that dark figure was him or not).

Biography[]

Note: What is written here depends on whether the Sandlord is the main antagonist or not, so the probability of being correct is 50/50.

Before the events of the game, the Sandlord mind-controlled all the Druids in the Druid Grove (except Abby) and made them create different monsters such as Bedrock, Golems, Tanglers, Daiseyes and Lileyes. Then released these monsters into the Mellow Meadows and Frogville Road, making them too dangerous for civilians to use.

He then recruited The Bandit King to help him with his plan. After this, he took his plan a step further by having Bandit King and his men kidnap Frogville's Mayor Croakurt and threaten him into closing Frogville Road, while also terrorizing Mapleburg to prevent anyone from coming to their aid.

Just when everything was going in his favor, an unnamed Adventurer appeared in Mapleburg. Although he didn't do anything at first, he sent word to the Bandit King when he saw that the Adventurer was beginning to overcome all the obstacles he had prepared. Shortly after, the Adventurer confronts The Bandit King, and manages to defeat him.

As the adventurer progresses further, he defeats Bedrock and becomes allied with Abby, the only Druid who has managed to avoid the Sandlord's mind control. Abby tells the Adventurer that she thinks the Sandlord is the person who casted mind control over the Druids, and so the two set off for the Sandlord's residence, Ratzo Rocks.

Exact Information:

According to Abby, he's currently in a conflict with the people of Ratzo Rocks, and has been seen on all over the news.

Powers and Abilities[]

Note: Since he hasn't made an official appearance, all powers and abilities here are either implied or presumed.

  • Mind Control: It is arguably the Sandlord's most well-known power, as well as his strongest. And as can be seen, it is powerful enough to easily mind control an entire grove.
  • Master Manipulator: Although it is unknown how, the Sandlord was able to convince the Bandit King to work with him, and become loyal to him. As such, the Sandlord is thought to be a master manipulator.
  • Master Strategist: The Sandlord seems to have used a number of different strategies to achieve his goal, such as using the Druids and their monsters to block the Frogville Road and recruiting the Bandit King.
  • Genius-Level Intellect and Magic Knowledge: Due to having achieved such a dangerous power as Mind Control, the Sandlord is thought to be quite knowledgeable in magic and has a very high intelligence overall
  • Omnipresence: Although this is the most far-fetched theory, it is thought that the Sandlord is an omnipresent being. Evidence for this is that he is somehow aware of the Adventurer's existence and his actions, despite not appearing anywhere in the game. However, it is also thought that he is simply informed through word of mouth, but there is no concrete evidence for this either.

Trivia[]

  • The developers probably never even did any concept art for Sandlord. They haven't mentioned Sandlord since they stopped working on the game, and there are no images of Sandlord on the official Discord server or Wiki.
  • Due to Sandlord's name, Ratzo Rocks is thought by some fans to be a desert-themed location. And because of this, a joke has emerged on Discord among some fans comparing Sandlord to Ramses II from Arcane Adventures,[1] which was also created by Vetex's Games, the same studio that created Adventure Story.
    • However, as stated by Abby, Ratzo Rocks is a port town, which means the possibility of Ratzo Rocks having a desert climate is slim to none. So correspondingly, "sand" in Sandlord's name most likely refers to beach sand rather than desert sand.
